“I hired Ron & Natural Environments to prepare a master landscape and irrigation plan. After an initial consultation, the plans came back quickly and were in line with what I was envisioning. I own an 1920s pier and beam home, so fixing drainage and irrigation were priorities. Ron’s crews worked in the Dallas heat efficiently to install new gutters and run drainage lines first, and then later installed a new sprinkler system (the house had no existing irrigation) and some of the building blocks of the landscape plan (beds, turf, granite, etc.). Throughout the process, Ron was consistently available and responsive to any questions. Very pleased with the work.”

“I am very impressed with the quality of the work done by Natural Environments and Drainage Solutions. My house was built in 1972 and is on a slope. My backyard is uphill, and our driveway goes up to our alley. We bought our house in 1994. Our garage has always flooded with hard rains. Over time it has suffered considerable damage. I have tried various options including drains, rain barrels, and various water barriers without success. Mr. Zander spent a considerable time reviewing the situation and gave an array of options. I was struck by the level of his knowledge and the low-pressure way in which he described the options. He cut across the concrete driveway and installed a drainage runoff. He rerouted our downspouts to the street. He increased the width of the gutters to accommodate our steep roofs. He also installed a French drain. He implemented all the work in a very detailed and professional manner. I have had some hard rains with no garage flooding since he completed the project. I was expecting a good result, but I did not expect the aesthetic touches he used throughout the process. I would highly recommend this company.”

His work team led by Gerardo arrived on time to our home and were very professional and courteous. Ron remained available to us by telephone and email during the project to answer questions and reassure me that my yard would be put back together just as it was when it started. “The work from the start with Ron was fair, honest, and as quick as could be expected. He promptly came out and we discussed several (at least 5) different ways to solve my drainage issue. The work was estimated well and the time to complete was on the spot. The only issue was getting the project started, but this was back in October (ish) when there was a TON of rain causing delays for him (and other vendors I was using). He was thorough in providing updates as to when it could be worked, and after it started, it took maybe 3 days with a few guys on site. They were clean, quick, and I’m very happy with the results.”

“Natural Environments replaced my driveway with exposed aggregate along with a new stone entry and stone borders. They also replaced drainage from the roof. This is the second project I have used them for, the first being a drainage project. The quality of the work is outstanding! All stonework included a concrete base, drainage pipe was white PVC, not the black flexible pipe that collapses. They graded the driveway so there are no flat spots (which was a problem with the original driveway). I am very happy with their work and would absolutely hire them again.”

“You cannot go wrong here! Ron Zander and Natural Environments is currently in the process of transforming our backyard living space into a fantastic living/entertainment area. We have already partnered with this wonderful company to complete a much needed project concerning inadequate drainage around our house. Every time it rained, we would have water ponding in our garage, and have erosion problems all around our house. Upon a thorough inspection, Ron suggested upsizing our 4″ gutters to 6″ with screens overtop. That alone caused a noticeable difference. Then, he added two new downspouts at strategic points, and ran all of the downspouts underground and away from the property. To address the ponding water in the garage (due in part to a slope running down into our driveway) Ron suggested a slotted-drain running across the opening of the garage to catch the water. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Our garage is bone-dry, our erosion problems are mitigated, and all this after several days of heavy thunderstorms. We could not recommend that you partner with this terrific company any more emphatically. Ron has taken care of our desires every step of the way. He’ll do the same for you.”

“Natural Environments is currently working on some home improvement projects around our home. We were experiencing some major drainage issues around our house. Water was ponding around our structure and inside our garage. It cause all sorts of problems. After vetting possible companies to work with, and getting quotes, Natural Environments was superior across the board. Best price. Best vision.The solution for our drainage issue was to upgrade from 4-inch gutters to 6-inch gutters with screens. Then, they ran all of the downspouts underground and away from the house. They installed a grated drain across the front of the garage and ran it underground, as well. We just had major rains in Dallas this past weekend. No more ponding. The garage is dry. We are partnering with the company now to transform our backyard living space. We have all of the confidence in the world in this terrific company! Update February 22, 2018: We reached out to Ron again for a repair that was needed for damage to a downspout on our house. He answered quickly. The repair was made within a few days. No fuss.
